Where are we today?
Current Models
Given these 4 different models, where are we in their development. Some are more developed than others and we are needing to partner with companies to map out the domains to assist in their own success. Different industries will need this type of Compliance (or IV&V: Independent Validation and Verification) to ensure they are operating within industry norms and within legal and professionally standard practices.
Where is the industry at this stage?
Industry/Domain Models
Current Models by industry have not been developed nor has a standard been defined that would codify an approach that would work across platforms and industry. This is the next step of achieving such success, to define the overall process and approach that will get us to a standard and to qualified solutions that can be used to validate models.
Ethics Models
The Ethics Models have been somewhat defined within the context of controlling risks, natural laws, markets and liberty. This area has been a focus for the past 15 years on a separate project. The next steps are to review and solidify an approach that will best serve the AI Compliance needs.
Morality Models
The Morality Models are not defined at this time. But the framework and direction is understood. The next steps for building this model would be to refine the 4 dimensions, build the questions and validate the questions with experts and against a comprehensive group of AI solutions.
